But whats the difference between the two? And which one is right for you?

Microblading
Microblading is a manual hand held tool technique that uses a little blades to insert pigment into the skin. It creates hair like effects. However in my first 2 years of doing this technique i realized it wasnt near as good for my clients as nanoblading was. Why? Well for one it doesnt last as long. It also creates much more scar tissue and can damage the natural brow hair follicles. It can create keloids especially on darker skin tones. After 2 years i trained in nano blading and am now focused on nano blading. Microblading also heals much less natural looking due to the way it has to heal. It causes more trauma to the skin creating less natural appearence compared to nanoblading.

Nanoblading
Nanoblading is a newer technique that uses a smaller very fine needle. This allows for more precise, delicate strokes that create a more natural subtle look. Instead of cutting pigment into the skin it implants pigment. This results in much less trauma while also healing much better, Lasts much longer, Helps natural brow growth because of the way it stimulates the follicles it does not damage them. Usually within 7 days you are healed where as microblading can take up to a month.

Nano Blading Microblading
Single precise small needle Multiple rigid needles in blade shape
Can reach deeper into the skin for longer lasting Shallower skin placement
More Natural looking Less natural looking shorter lasting
Less Pain and very little to no bleeding More pain, Bleeding
Best for all skin types Can only be used for certain skin types
